NASF Iron Sports Youth Initiative
http://www.nasfironsports.org/images/youngguybicep.jpg NASF Iron Sports supports the White House initiative to place greater emphasis and effort to fight child hood obesity. Each day millions of kids are left out of participating in competitive sports because of a youth director’s (or coach’s) desire t build a team with the available and ready-to-play athletes at the sporting programs or school’s disposal. However, millions of kids are left on the sidelines and never experience the thrill of competition or even have the opportunity to learn how to train for a particular sport, let alone become fit and healthier through participation in a sport. NASF Iron Sports understands the importance of a moderate and managed resistance /weightlifting to develop and encourage athleticism, and confidence in a new athlete and offers free assistance to schools wishing to introduce their youths to a healthier lifestyle.
Spring 2011 NASF Iron Sports will release its Certified Personal Training Program. Anyone training or competing in Iron Sports will want to have a NASFIS Personal Trainer Certification. This training certification will certify your expertise in fitness training and emphasize your depth of knowledge in the iron sports. Once you complete your NASFIS Personal Trainer Certification you will have gained an understanding of the evolution and future of the fitness industry and the everyday efforts needed to improve the health and performance levels of the competing and recreational athlete. All health care industry predictions lean toward the future of patient care and medicine turning toward the recommendation of preventive measures in managing health care as opposed to the more traditional treatment of a patient after becoming ill. As more of the population understands how exercise is the key to a more fit and fruitful life, your NASFIS certification will position you as more qualified and prepared to assist your clients with their health and fitness questions and goals.
