Youth Programs

kidsexerciseNorth American Sports Federation - Iron Sports is interested in working with high school students to introduce them to Iron Sports...which consist of olympic lifting, power lifting and body building. (Non-adults can not participate in body building) Our mission and motivation is to introduce to kids a new competitive sport that happens to be a fantastic method of enhancing the overall athlete...weight-lifting. Many athletic coaches are well aware of the benefits of athletes incorporating a sensible amount of resistance/weight training into a training regime.  Most kids do not fully understand weight training or physical conditioning and will benefit from Iron Sports training. Many of the students that participate in our training program may never desire to compete in an Iron Sports competition, but the mere exposure will allow these young developing adults a greater consciousness of proper weight training and its benefits to enhance one's overall health and fitness levels.

This is a no-cost program performed after-school time to introduce the various
competitive Iron Sports' lifts and the proper way to train for these events.  Please contact us if you would like to learn more on how to set up a NASF Iron Sports program in your area.
